Jonathan is an experienced litigator with a special focus on patent litigation, trade secret litigation, and strategic counseling. Jonathan has served as the lead attorney in multiple proceedings before the International Trade Commission, from pre-petition investigation through administrative trial and appeal. He has represented clients in all phases of litigation in dozens of cases in federal and state courts. Jonathan has also served as local counsel in a variety of matters pending in the Eastern and Western Districts of Texas.

Jonathan’s patent and IP litigation experience spans a variety of technologies, including telecommunications, computer software, web services, mobile devices, agriculture technologies, encryption software, and industrial design of consumer products.

Prior to founding Rozier & Hardt, Jonathan was a partner at an Austin-based litigation boutique and before that served as counsel in the intellectual property litigation practice group of a leading international firm in Washington D.C. Jonathan first returned to Texas in 2016 as a member of the intellectual property litigation group of a Texas-based international firm. Jonathan clerked for the Hon. David Folsom in the Eastern District of Texas from 2006-2007. Jonathan graduated first in his class from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2006.
