Andrew Gordon-Seifert

Education

Andrew Gordon-Seifert represents businesses and individuals in federal and state courts nationwide in matters involving intellectual property disputes and complex commercial litigation. He has litigated cases across a wide array of technologies and industries, including chemical compounds, consumer electronics, domain name enforcement, automotive systems, and digital content platforms.

Andrew’s experience spans all phases of litigation, from pre-suit investigation and motion practice through discovery, claim construction, expert work, summary judgment, trial, and appeal. He played a key role in securing a jury verdict of over $700,000 in a chemical patent infringement trial in the Northern District of Ohio and has successfully briefed dispositive motions involving Section 101 patent eligibility, trade secrets, and contract interpretation.

Prior to joining Rozier Hardt McDonough, Andrew practiced with both a national litigation firm and a boutique intellectual property firm, where he handled high-stakes litigation involving patents, trademarks, trade secrets, business torts, and antitrust claims. He also served as a legal fellow at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, where he advised on general litigation, licensing, and domain portfolio protection.Andrew earned his J.D., cum laude, from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, where he was an associate editor of the Ohio State Journal of Criminal Law. He holds a dual undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University, graduating magna cum laude with a B.A. in History and a B.M. in Music Performance (Cello).
