Anthony Hao is an intellectual property litigator and a registered patent attorney with a focus on complex patent litigation. Anthony has litigated a variety of design patent, utility patent, and anti-trust matters in federal district courts across the country, including Illinois, California, Texas, and Delaware, for clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to individual inventors. Anthony has made significant contributions to the success of these matters, including drafting complaints and answers, drafting motion to dismiss and motion for summary judgment, manage discovery, drafting discovery correspondences and motions, and evaluating dispositive issues like infringement and validity. Further, Anthony also has experience in guiding clients through strategic intellectual property decisions and alternative dispute resolution processes. Representative technologies he has worked on include automative parts, voice recognition software, augmented reality software, internet search engines, wireless network, LED lights, shelving brackets, and laundry detergent.
Prior to joining Rozier Hardt McDonough, Anthony worked at a Chambers-ranked premier intellectual property litigation boutique and a general practice firm in Chicago, focusing on his practice in patent litigation and licensing. During law school, Anthony was an associate editor at Chicago-Kent Law Review (August 2019 – May 2021) and Chicago-Kent Journal of Intellectual Property (April 2019 – May 2020). Before law school, Anthony obtained a B.S. in chemistry from University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, where he focused on pre-pharmacy studies.
